Show Rules: This Department is for ages 11 and up.
ONLY ONE EXHIBIT MAY BE ENTERED FOR EACH CLASS NUMBER.
All articles must be produced and grown by the exhibitor. If the judge deems articles have been purchased for exhibition, they can disqualify them.
Corn exhibits selected from late varieties and entered either as medium of 90 day will be ruled out.
After being submitted, the superintendent shall have control of same: exhibitors shall not interfere with or handle exhibit afterwards.
No entries will be released before specified time. If you are unable to pick up your exhibits at the release time, it is your responsibility to find someone to do so. Any items remaining after 1:00 p.m. will be disposed of immediately.
Spoiled Produce will be disqualified. Premium payouts must be picked up form show superintendent during release time.
Threshed Grains, Legumes and Other Large Seeds- can be grown in either the previous year or current year. Special Award: Best of Lot additional $5.
Sheaf Display- Sheaf grains and grasses shall not be less than 3” in diameter at the center. The sheaf must be tied with cord, twine or tape. They shall be judged by type, quality and general appearance. Grass and legume sheaves shall be judged as forage. Special Award: Best of lot additional $5.
Stalk Display & Six ear samples- Entries in this class shall be judged from the standpoint of best plant types for the purpose for which the crop is grown, whether for grain, forage or otherwise. Classes 301-323 should be grown in 2010 and 324-333 should be grown in 2009.
